October is a wonderful time of year at Meriwether as we settle into our school routines and continue building strong relationships, high expectations, and a positive school culture. Our students have been working hard to demonstrate what it means to be a Self-Manager by showing responsibility, perseverance, and kindness each day.

This month, teachers will continue using assessment data to support student growth and ensure every learner receives the instruction and support they need to be successful. We are also excited to celebrate Disability History and Awareness Month and recognize the important role regular attendance plays in academic achievement and social-emotional growth. Every day matters, and we appreciate your partnership in helping students arrive on time and ready to learn.

October also provides opportunities for family engagement, school events, and celebrating the many cultures and backgrounds that make our Meriwether community so special. We encourage families to stay connected through our newsletters, PTA activities, and school events throughout the month.
